A price for the recording
Artists set prices for their releases. Our “Again” example uses a 3-cent paid listen and a $1 ownership price. Those are that recording’s prices, not a promise that every artist charges or receives the same amount.
HDMediaPlayer
HDMediaPlayer brings artist-set prices and stream-to-own listening together. A release can have its own paid-listen price and ownership price, instead of relying on one universal value for every play.

Eligible paid listens build toward ownership. When a recording is owned, the listener can keep a downloadable original and listen to that owned recording without further stream charges.
The artist workspace brings release tasks into the product. Use your account’s available controls to manage the recordings and release information you are authorized to publish.
HDMediaPlayer includes a Promo Studio for creating promotional material around music. Review the available features in your artist account and use only recordings and artwork you have the rights to promote.
A listener-facing stream price is not a guaranteed artist payout. Review the platform’s current fee, payment and release terms before publishing paid music. We do not promise a particular income, audience size or discovery result.
Start with the working player, explore the artist workspace and compare the ownership experience from the listener’s side.
