What we keep

Your username, email and a protected password hash; account sessions; purchases and payment references; playlists, saved songs, following and listening history; and support requests. Artists also provide profiles, releases and payout-related information.

Why we use it

To sign you in, deliver your music, synchronize your library, prevent abuse, handle purchases and support, and show artists listening and sales statistics. Anonymous listener totals identify browsers, not verified people. We do not publish listener account emails in artist statistics.

Payments and hosting

Stripe processes payments. AWS hosts account data and media. Card details are handled by Stripe; they are not stored in the HDMediaPlayer music library. Essential cookies and device storage keep sessions and preferences working.

Your choices

You can remove saved songs, clear listening history, unfollow artists, hide an artist, sign out, or request account deletion from Help, privacy & safety. Deletion requests require your password and are reviewed by an owner. The status appears there while your account remains available.

After listener account deletion, sign-in credentials and personal library data are removed. Purchase, payment, fraud-prevention and moderation records may be retained where necessary for refunds, accounting, disputes or safety. Creator accounts require a separate review of published releases, collaborators and outstanding earnings. Deletion is not an automatic refund.

Recommendations and artist declarations

Suggestions are calculated on your device using your saved songs and listening history. You can turn personalization off on the Listen page or clear history through your library. Genres and cover-art AI labels are supplied by artists and are not independent certification. AI-generated music is not allowed. Suspected violations can be reported through Help & Support for owner review.

Staying signed in

Sign-in can last up to 90 days without renewal. Returning to the app renews eligible sessions, up to one year from sign-in. Signing out, password changes and account removal can end access sooner. Your browser may also clear its cookies.

Artist brand assets

Personal and team logos are stored with the artist account and loaded by authorized creative tools. Exported promotional images and videos are generated on your device. They are not automatically posted or uploaded to your public catalog.
